Is that model-year and product-name correct?
My list says the first MacBook Pro was the 2006 model-year.

Here are the requirements for installing Big Sur:
Early 2013 MacBook Pro (MacBook Pro 10,1 and 10,2) can run Catalina as their last MacOS.
Late 2013 MacBook Pro Retina (MacBook Pro 11,1 11,2 and 11,3) can run Big Sur, and any early problems with Installation were fixed a long time ago.
Thank you all for your response. My mistake, my Macbook Pro is late model 2013 with retina display.
Then if you read the information located at the link I provided, your computer is compatible with Big Sur.
