Telegram App prevents phone from auto-locking

Hi,

I have noticed a disturbign behavior on Telegram App which recently I started using more frequently than before. If I forget to close the app it does not allow the iPhoen to automatically turn off screen and auto-locking. The obvious issue is the fact that this drains the battery.

I have same issue with some other apps, however I use them less frequently.

Does anyone know if there is a way to tune settings to avoid the problem?
