iMessage

I got a new iphone and i just transferred my number from my old phone to my new phone but it won’t let me use my number to text or make facetime calls. It says that my send and receive adress is my apple id so it’s using my email and not the phone number. how can i fix it?

Unable to send iMessages to myself on my iPhone X When sending a "text" message to myself using my iPhone X, it only sends SMS messages (green bubble). I cannot send iMessage (blue bubble) to myself using my iPhone. I can't delete old phpne number and add the new number for iMesagge or FaceTime. I changed my phone number recently. I cant delete the old number and add the new number for imesagge or facetime. Please help I'm trying to delete an old number from the Imessage facetime apps. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
