How do I show the track release year in my menu for Apple ITunes?

Mountart2's question from almost exactly a year ago was about the menu on Apple Music (still not answered), but it's what came up when I did a search for a question I had today a about adding a release year to my menu in Apple iTunes — and I figured out the answer:

1. Go to your song list for your library.
2. Option-click (or right click) near the menu up top ( "Title, Time, Artist, Genre, etc). You'll get a pull down menu of all the menu options.
3. You can choose "Release Date" if you wish. But I preferred scrolling down farther to "Year" (I sometimes like to think about what I was up to when the song was first released...)
