iPhone X. Is it possible to select a new tone for Messenger alerts? I mean Facebook Messenger, not simple text messages. Suggestions here to do this under Sounds/Haptics is incorrect. There is no option there to change the alert tone for Messenger.

1. Go to Settings > Notifications.
2. Select an app under Notification Style.
3. Choose a type of alert and banner style.
You can also turn sounds and badges on or off.

Hi! In Messenger for iOS, it is currently not possible to change the notification sounds, unlike Android in which users can select a sound for Messenger.
