My App is not crossing over

I had a iPhone 7 until recently buying the IPhone XS Max. I had no problems putting my data from the 7 to the max except for one app. This app unfortunately isn’t on the App Store anymore but is still on my old 7. Is there a way to transfer the app over from my 7 to the max?

If the app has been removed from the App Store (any reason) it will not be transfered to the new device.

What app are you talking about? Have you checked if it is compatible with (updated for) iOS 14 or later?
