I have an iPhone 11 Pro. I accidentally hid messages from a contact. I want to I hide them. I have tried swiping to the left as suggested online but all it does is swipe to all off the text messages. There is no unhide option. Help!

We'd like to clarify, as it isn't possible to actually hide messages within the Messages app on your iPhone. Are you referring to the "Hide alerts" feature? If so check out this article:
Use Messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Pay close attention to the section titled, "Turn on Hide alerts." You will follow those same instructions to turn off hide alerts.
