Why does the Date & Time preferences box extend below the bottom of the screen? Why can't the box shape be adjusted to show the entire box and the Unlock feature, as shown below?

"Clock" is missing in Date/Time Hello everyone, I've been using the time announce feature on my Macbook for a while, and I'd love to turn it off since it scares me sometimes while I'm focusing on my work or watching movies. date time grayed out big sur menu bar The date time on the menu bar is grayed out. It becomes white when I click on it. How do I make it be white like everything else on the menu bar?

That is a very good question as when I was running 11.0.1, mine was about 4 inches high. You are way behind, and there may be fixes in subsequent releases of Big Sur that may resolve your current situation.
