iTunes Podcast Upload/RSS Feed

When trying to connect our podcast to iTunes using our RSS Feed we get the following error:

"Podcast artwork must be between 1400 x 1400 and 3000 x 3000 pixels, JPG or PNG, in RGB color space, and hosted on a server that allows HTTP head requests."

I've decreased the size so it shows as 170 kB and the size is at least 1400x1400 pixels, and in RGB color space. Can you please tell us what is going wrong? It works for everything else except iTunes.

Thank you for your help!

However when downloaded the image format is .webp - a Google variant of JPG I believe. This isn't acceptable. I don't know how it comes about that the URL's extension and the file format don't match.

Also the dimensions are 1250 x 1250 and thus too small. I've seen numerous cases of images which the owner believed to be 1400 x 1400 or greater but which are actually smaller, all from Podbean. I can't see why Podbean would be shrinking images, if that indeed what is happening, as they must know what the paramaters are: but if you are quite sure your submitted image is suitablyl sized I can only suggest taking it up with Podbean.
