High pitched noise

My XR has been making this high-pitched noise anytime I interact with the screen, for example if I do it haptic touch it will start to make that noise and just switching from app to app makes the noise as well when I touch for a long time what do I do?

Hey there daJa00,

We understand that when interacting with the touch screen on your iPhone XR, you are hearing a high-pitched noise. Let's do some troubleshooting and check a few settings.

First, does restarting your iPhone change anything, even if temporarily? This is an easy step to take and refreshes a lot within the software, which is why we suggest it first. Restart your iPhone

Next, is your iPhone on silent? It sounds like you have haptic feedback enabled. You can check the haptic settings in Settings > Sounds & Haptics > System Haptics. If you disable that, does that change the behavior? This will help us isolate whether that might be causing the situation.

Let us know how that goes.
