how tight should the watch be

hi i have an apple watch but i got a size 12 and it was too big. i then got a size 10 but still feel that this isnt tight enough even though the watch now sits on top of my wrist instead of falling under. should it be a little tighter? its the solo loop band that ive got. Thanks
