My computer won’t start and it has the flashing question mark

started the computer today and it came up with a flashing question mark in a folder, how do I stop this from happening and able to use my computer like normal?

Your computer is no longer able to see it's operating system. Have you done anything or changed anything? You now need to reinstall its operating system.Try restarting it while holding down the Command + Option + R keys at startup. This is the Internet Recovery Mode and will enable you to download and reinstall the OS.
