hi, i got a screen replacement today as my screen had smashed and now my home button is overly sensitive. I’ve already tried changing the 3D and haptic touch level but it hasn’t really helped. when i lightly press my home button it acts like i’ve pressed it multiple times and i cant use touch ID as it says that I’m pressing too hard. it’s a iphone 7+ for reference

We understand the Home button is overly sensitive and can't be used due to a message indicating it's being pressed too hard. We also understand this started after having the screen replaced on your iPhone. You've done a great job trying to resolve this on your own.
We'd also recommend reviewing the steps on what to do If a button or switch isn't working on your iPhone or iPad.
If the Home button still doesn't work, the best solution is to set up service with the Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider that replaced the screen on your iPhone.
