beats x won't stay connected to iPhone SE or MacBook Pro

I'm able to connect to either my iPhone SE or MacBook Pro, but then it disconnects after a few seconds. I've "reset" the BeatsX, removed the device from both my phone and MacBook, reconnected and it still happens. Other BeatsX devices connect normally to both my iPhone and MacBook. My BeatsX are only about 14 months old. suggestions? is there a way to get BeatsX serviced?
