Charging cables

I have bought a iPad Pro 12.9 today which has the new usb 3 charging cable and plug, can I buy an adapter to use the cables I had with my old I pad pro or do I need to buy new ones

There is no way to convert the lightning cables to USB C. You'll need to purchase new ones.

Can I use the charger from my old iPad with my new iPad Pro? So I just purchased a new 12.7 iPad Pro. It uses USB-C to USB-C for charging. I am coming from an older iPad that used Lightning. I understand not being able to use the cables themselves, but what about the chargers? Could I change and but a USB-C to USB cable to make use of all the chargers I have? Are their adapters that make use of the new charger cables for my iPad 2? Is there an adapter that enables charging for my iPad 2 that takes present-day apple cables
