Apple TV won't stop asking for password

One second after beginning a show on Apple TV+, a sign in screen comes us asking for my password. After entering my password, the show starts and two seconds later, the password request screen comes up again. The loop won't end no matter how many times I enter my password. While entering, I can hear the show running in the background.

I've tried logging out of iTunes and unplugging and restarting my Apple TV to no avail. Any other ideas?>
