Why can’t I reply to a specific message

Not exactly. Thanks to this reference https://www.businessinsider.com/how-to-inline-reply-in-messages-on-iphone. I learned that both users or both groups have to be on iMessage. If someone is on SMS text it will not work. That’s why it appears and sometimes doesn’t appear. If you’re both on iMessage it works.

Yea this didn’t help, I have the same problem and force pushing a message bubble doesn’t give an option of “reply” even though the other options come up. Running iOS 14 and have restarted the iPhone multiple times

I am having the same problem. I can see that there are many others having the same problem. The feature unreliable. How can this be fixed?
