two factor authentication

This is not about Photos [app]

I set my two factor authentication up for my iCloud account at least 5 years ago but for the life of me, I can't remember any of it. Given that I've not logged in for that long any data in there is unimportant so it won't matter if I lose it.


How do I start the process?

The 2FA account was set up from which device Mac / iPhone / iPad , do you still owe the device .

The Apple ID address can be read from the device If you forgot your Apple ID - Apple Support

The password can be reset If you forget your Apple ID or password - Apple Support

The account recovery can be done with the help of apple support How to use account recovery when you can’t reset your Apple ID password - Apple Support

If you don't remember the Apple ID address , the device is not without you and zero credentials then its impossible .
