There are dangers using the any software that controls the fan of the MacBook. Set too high will drain the battery and possible cause the fan to malfunction. Setting it too low can cause the computer to overheat / shutdown. Anything the computer overheats for extended periods of time may Fry the LogicBoard and or components in the computer.
