How can I solve a blinking Apple logo on my screen?

My iPhone XS Max battery died and when powered, it started blinking the Apple logo. I later tried forcing restart on the device but it didn’t work. I later tried the option of updating my iOS using my PC and that didn’t work too.. I don’t want to click the restore option as this would erase my data from my phone.. please what else should I do?
