Garageband on Big Sur "no input source selected"

OS: Big Sur 11.2.3

Device: MacBook Pro 13" 2020

Application: Garageband (NATIVE)

Sound Input: MacBook Pro Microphone

Trying to record my voice without plugging in a mic. This worked perfectly fine in the past. Now, I can't record to (NATIVE) Garageband using (NATIVE) input. How is this possible? Getting continual "No input source selected" error whether Output is set to External Headphone or to MacBook Pro Speakers. Yes, Garageband is permitted to use the built in mic in Security and Privacy.

Was it updating to Big Sur that created this issue?
