Apple 85W AC Magsafe 1 Model A1184

Hi everybody,

I have an old MacBook4,1 (Model Number: A1181) from early 2008, and the power cable connection to the T-tip head has pretty much died. The model name on the adaptor says A1184, but it's been extremely difficult to find either a second hand one, or a non-Apple ersatz that will do the same job.

Are there any other model names that would be compatible with the same laptop, or should I get the exact same specifications as A1184?

There is an example of original replacement 85W MagSafe1 version among others

that are correct to fit. Your MacBook 13-inch likely shipped new with 60W MagSafe.

(There are two versions of the magnetic end for MagSafe1; some have L-shape

others had T-shape. ~Both worked the same. Higher-output scales to demand.)
