iPhone speaker button shows other devices - how to remove them

Hi,

For the last year or so, when I am on a phone call on my iPhone and I press the speaker button, it shows me a list of devices to choose from instead of just putting the call on speaker.

in some other threads people have suggested to turn off Bluetooth, or to turn off “call on other devices”. Both those solutions DO NOT work

the only way to not see the devices on pressing the speaker button is to turn off my Wi-Fi. This makes me believe that iPhone is trying to look for other audio devices on my WiFi and offering to connect my calls to those.

  1. I do not want iPhone to invade my privacy and look for other devices on my Wi-Fi.
  2. I want the speaker button to stop showing the device list. I expect it to put the call on speaker when I press the button . But I want to keep my WiFi connected. How can I do this?

thanks in advance

iPhone 11
