Hello soumya263,

Being able to use an Apple Pencil with your iPad adds so much. We are going to try to assist in getting it working.

Let's start by working through the steps found here under the section titled, "If your Apple Pencil won't pair with your iPad": Connect Apple Pencil with your iPad - Apple Support

Here are some additional steps if the issue continues:

  • Charge the iPad to at least 80%
  • Attach the Pencil to the side of the iPad, and leave it connected for at least half an hour.
  • If the option to attach the Pencil does not appear, remove the Pencil from the side of the iPad for ten seconds before re-attaching it. Give the Pencil 30 seconds to give the pairing option.
  • Remove the pencil from the iPad, and power cycle the iPad.
  • If the behavior persists, attach the pencil magnetically to the iPad, then power cycle the iPad
  • If necessary, leave it connected for up to 45 minutes and verify the firmware version on the Pencil via Settings > General > About > Apple Pencil.

Let us know if this helps.
