Trying to align regions but having a difficult time doing this.... any ideas?

Hi there,

I think SNAP TO GRID is the easiest and best way to do this. You can manually select this or assign key commands. I reccoemdn you stay inside of Bars, Beats, Divisions, and Ticks. It has worked wonders for me. Also, learn to get "off the grid" for deeper editing.

Last thing, enable Alignment Guides to give you some visual feedback when aligning tracks.

Align regions on different tracks? You can use the To Playhead (Pickup Clock) command for that: using that command will put the start of the selected region(s) to where the playhead is.
