Stick regions together

Is it possible to stick regions together without a cut between them so that you can then press L and loop them etc.

For example if you used the scissors to cut the region in half and later decided you wanted it as one region again but it was too late for Control Z.

Thanks

When recording rhythm guitar loops. If I flatten a take folder that is looping well and then glue it together it starts making a pop sound when it goes from loop to loop. Does that mean that glue changes the audio in some way to make it slightly out of time?

Hope that makes sense. Thanks for your help!
