Can't open .CR2 Canon Camera RAW files in Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom on M1 with Big Sur, Adobe CC all up to date

Hi,

Since upgrading to an M1, with Big Sur, my RAW files are not recognised. According to Cloud I am up to date with all 3 programs, and RAW is up to date.

I can't import RAW into Lightroom, and in Bridge there are no thumbnail previews, and when I try to edit in Photoshop I get "Could not complete your request because Photoshop does not recognize this type of file."

At first I thought my card was corrupt, but on the next job realised it was just the new macbook.

Anybody got any tips? I import the same files into the same programs on an older Intel Macbook and can edit fine.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.2

Thanks for the reply!

As far as I can tell, I can open Photoshop with Rosetta, but not Lightroom or Bridge. When I right click and go into Get Info, only Photoshop has a box with Rosetta to check.

Is there another way?

An update on this. I copied the RAW files from the older Intel computer over to the M1, and I can open those in RAW. So it seems like it was something to do with the ingesting maybe?
