After booting my macMini M1, the attached (DP) screen (C49RG9x Display) was not found until I had to replug it again. Thi9s happens completely random, some days it just works as expected the other day I have to replugin again to make it work.
Anyone else ?

The Display Startup/Sleep/Wake handshake has been buggy since macOS 10.14.
HDMI wont be able to deliver 5120x1440. The DP cable can handle up to 8k and was a suggestion by a apple dealer.
Why do you think it is the cable when it works 99% of the time ?
Which DisplayPort Cable do you suggest ?

Is it normal that the Monitor do not show a picture form the beginning when turning on the macMini?
I just tesed the sleep with the hot corner, and it woked ~10 times after each other without any issue.
The Display Startup/Sleep/Wake handshake has been buggy since macOS 10.14.
So Apple is aware of it and we can hope that they will fix it ?
You can send Mac Mini and macOS Feedback, but don't hold your breath.
Test the setup using a different USB-C to Display Port cable.
Test the setup using a Premium Certified HDMI cable.
