Apple Watch SE unlocks without full passcode

Several times now I’ve put my Apple Watch SE back on after charging and I only get 2-3 digits into entering the passcode when it fully unlocks (I have it set to a longer than default passcode). This has me very concerned about security especially with the phone unlock via Apple Watch coming in 14.5.

Keep Apple watch 6 unlocked OK just upgraded from an Apple Watch 4. I was never prompted for a passcode. But every time I take the Apple Watch 6 off I am prompted for a passcode and it is annoying and in my opinion unnecessary. I have searched for solutions but everything I see is unacceptable. If I turn off passcode it removes my Apple Pay cards. If I turn off wrist detection it turns off all health tracking. I did set "unlock with iPhone" but I usually use my watch long before my iphone, sometimes hours before. Apple watch - Too many passcode attempts - I didn't attempt, and I haven't forgotten my passcode! When storing my apple watch in my bag I always get too many passcode attempts. In this case, it's completely locked me out. How do i prevent this from happening? It indicates to reset my watch - i power down, and the same happens. Does reset really mean 'reset to factory defaults'? This is a bug when storing the watch in a bag!!!

Unlock Apple Watch SE from iPhone 11 The touch screen on the Apple Watch SE is not responding to touch. Guide me to activate the passcode from the phone in order to unlock the watch. On my iPhone, I cannot access “unlock with iPhone”. It is redirecting me back to the Apple Watch to unlock first

Make sure that you don't have unlock with iPhone toggled on.

From your iPhone>Watch>Passcode>Unlock with iPhone>Toggle this off
