I purchased the full version of Minecraft several years ago and have been sharing it with my two kids. I gave my son a newer iPad to play on but we cannot get Minecraft to download from the cloud. It is asking to pay to use the app. I have checked all the Family Sharing Id's as suggested and nothing has worked. Is there something else I need to check. My daughter's iPad mini has no problem with the app.

It sounds like you've done some good troubleshooting so far checking your Family Sharing IDs. We want to make sure that the new iPad you are using is also signed in to the correct Apple ID linked to your Family Sharing account. If you open Settings > [your name], is the Apple ID there one that is in your Family Sharing group? I have tried all of the suggestions on your link and I still cannot get Minecraft, the App Store is asking me to pay. I have triple checked all sign ins and passwords. I can access all other purchases I have made on my son's iPad, but not Minecraft. Could it be a Minecraft issue? Any other suggestions?
Update! My bad, I purchased the app on my daughters account, problem solved. insert embarrassed emoji.
