Can’t download Minecraft on new phone

We have used Minecraft via family sharing for a couple of years with no problems.

Today I tried to download it on a new phone and it says I need to pay for it again. I still have it installed on my old iPad (same Apple ID for the device and the App Store) and it still works fine. My wife (who originally bought it) can still download it for free. I’ve checked we’re still family sharing, and I can see it in her purchases when I look on my phone.

What could be wrong?

Solved, though I still don’t know why it didn’t “just work”.

i went into the App Store, tapped my account picture in the top right, tapped on the “Purchased” button and then on my wife’s name. Minecraft was in the list of her purchases and I could get it by tapping the download button there.
