Turn off tab-sharing without disabling Handoff

Is it possible to stop sharing browser tabs (non-Safari browsers) between Macs without turning off the Handoff setting? I copy/paste between Macs a lot so I can't turn that off, but everything else included in the Handoff feature is useless to me and I'd love to get rid of it. The browser tab sharing specifically is super annoying, especially since I just updated to Big Sur and the icon in the dock moved and is no longer separated from everything else.

Hi thomasruns,

It sounds like you're looking to disable iCloud tabs, but want to keep Handoff on. We're glad you've joined us in Apple Support Communities. Let's see if this helps.

Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud and turn off Safari. Keep in mind this will turn off all Safari sharing. You can also reverse the instructions in Set up and use iCloud Tabs to disable this feature.

We hope that helps with your question and take care!
