Clipper Card / Wallet -- Does it work for Senior Clipper Card

I'm unable to transfer my existing card to Apple Wallet, and suspect it might be the fact that it's a Senior card. Has anyone been able to transfer a Senior Clipper Card to Apple Wallet?

I solved the problem! I struck me that the issue might be radio interference because I was trying to do this on a table next to my MacBook Air (convenient, could check the instructions on the MB, never been a problem before setting up cards in wallet). Sure enough, I moved away and it worked fine.

So I think the wisdom gained is that transferring a card, which requires (if I understand right) reading and writing the card using NFC) is better done not near a computer.

Hello prchristy,

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities.

It sounds like you're attempting to add a Senior Clipper Card to your Wallet app, but you're unable to. We're happy to look into this, and provide guidance.

Please try the steps here: Set up a card in Wallet to ride transit with Apple Pay

Thanks MoonJ, Tried all of that, carefully, multiple times and each time it fails in the "transfer" phase (phone on card) yielding a diagnostic "check in the info." I am suspicious it is a problem with the Senior Card (which gives wonderful discounts) If I try and set up a new card it is not possible to specify Senior Card (in the previous world you had to send an image of your DL or Passport to validate age). In iPhone Wallet adding a Clipper card is a recognized operation, but not a Senior Card. I'm just trying to see if anyone has done this successfully. The Clipper Support line is very non technical ("is your software up to date?" "try again"), Apple phone support was better but she didn't have any info and the call dropped when I was on hold for her to talk to higher level support.
