Maps send me to another suburb

anyone else find maps have sent them in the wrong direction ? This has happened to me on many occasions. This time I was travelling to visit family but once I got to the supposed address and couldn’t find the house I had discovered I was in the wrong suburb altogether and not knowing it. I could see in my maps history from today that I started off with the correct address but half way somehow diverted me to another suburb that had the same street name. It’s not a very common street name so it not like there were 50 different places with the same street name. I have tracked back and cannot work out how I went from heading towards one place then ended up somewhere else.
