HP Photosmart Pro B9180 drivers for newer Mac OSs

I have had my trusty printer for quite some time. I have spoilt myself and upgraded my Mac, and with it comes a new operating system. I now find that I cannot get HP software to recognise the existence of the printer.

I tried installing HP Smart, but despite the printer being found in the printer setup by the OS I can't install drivers, if indeed there are any still.

Does anyone use a HP Photosmart Pro B9180 with a newer OS?

HP ended driver support for this device with OS X Mavericks (10.9.5) in 2014. There is no GutenPrint, or AirPrint support for your device either.

Time for a new purchase decision based on a networked device that is supported by Apple's built-in AirPrint, which does not require vendor drivers.
