How do I change the opening frame on the IMovie video ?

Put your cursor on the left edge of the clip in the timeline and, while pressing down, drag the edge to the right to trim it off. You can also add a photo or another clip in front to change the opening frame.


If you already have exported the movie to your desktop you can open it in QuickTimePlayer and trim off the first frames. Or, import it back into a new iMovie project and trim off the first frame.
