Mic cuts out on Zoom

In Zoom, my mic cuts out when other people talk. This only happens from my iMac.

When on Zoom, other people cannot hear me if they are talking. My audio feed is subordinate to everyone else's. My audio cuts in and out, which does not happen to the other participants. Multiple people can talk at the same time and be heard, but not me. The only time I am heard is when I am the only one talking. Also, when this is happening, my Zoom frame/box almost never lights up.

I am using a 2019 21" iMac.

Troubleshooting Zoom:

A. Any Mute Button:

If there is a mute button, then try unmuting it, through use of the button.

B. Go Here: Control Access to your Microphone on Mac. See if Zoom is permitted to use your microphone.

C. Contact the Developer (Zoom):

Contact Zoom, as they are the Third-Party developer of the app being used here. Ask them if audio recording is an option when it comes to screen recording. Honestly, I’m not even so certain that audio recording is even an option, when recording the screen.
