MajorLauncher

An app called “MajorLauncher” showed up in my dock this morning. Does anybody have any idea what this is? I’m worried it’s a spyware app or something equally dubious. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What is this App? This appeared in the dock on my iMac after I had installed Mohave. It actually specifically appeared after I opened Safari and opened a new tab. SEE PIC ATTACHED. Can anyone tell me more about what it is or may be... It says NameSync above it when I hover over it. I don't want to open it unknowingly as I had a problem the other day with a darned flash update installing some wacky malware that messed up Safari until I could delete it. Thanks in advance Gordy...

lookupshare app ?? Yahoo hijacks Safari This app suddenly appeared in my Dock. I have no idea what it is and cannot find any info about it online. Also Yahoo has hijacked Safari without my permission. How does this happen ??

Sounds like malware. Did you recently attempt to install a "flash player"?
