The stereo sound comes and goes. Any idea why?

I have 2 Homepod Mini speakers and I have paired and repaired them and the stereo sound comes and goes. As soon as I think it set one side drops the sound. Sometimes, one speaker won't stop when I stop the music from my ipad.

I am going to return one of the speakers. This is no good.

Any suggestions? Thank you.

sound suddeny stops i have a little irritation with my homepod mini : if I use them as a tv speaker when i watch a series of film the sound from my 2 homepods suddenly stops playing. i can resolve it by restarting the episode or film. is there a solution for it ? my internet connection work fine so that is not the problem.

HomePod mini left channel issues My left channel keeps cutting out when my two HomePods are in stereo pair. If I switch left and right, the speaker that cuts out is still the left channel. WiFi is strong, 6e Mesh. Started happening regularly with iOS 17 update to apple ecosystem

Reboot your router and iPad, power cycle the HomePods, see if the behaviour is any better.
