iPhone 11 Overheating

I have had my iPhone 11 for exactly one month. I purchased the wall adapter that goes with the charger I got in the box, so I’m charging it with the correct accessory. My phone gets very hot whenever I charge it. Before charging, I remove my case, clear the apps, turn off the WiFi & Bluetooth but nothing seems to help. What could be the problem?

Hello,

You should not need to remove the case (unless it is non-Apple) and clear apps etc. See these steps:

1) Check the charging port for lint or other debris

2) See this: Keeping iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch within acceptable operating temperatures - Apple Support

3) If no help, have it checked: Apple - Find Locations

Good luck.
