Sharing photos with Apple TV 4K

Hi everyone. So, I’m thinking of buying the new Apple TV 4K. I love everything of it...minus the photos app. I’ve been wondering if do I have to share my photos or if there’s an option to not share my photos with the Apple TV at all, because I don’t want my family members trying to see through my photos and videos and ask me questions.
