view entire message on ipad it doesn't work

When I click view entire message it doesn't work, it works on my iPhone and computer but not my iPad. All software is up to date

Can't see edit button on messages on iPhone 12 Pro Max I downloaded the IOS 16.1 so I can see the messages that has been deleleted as per Apple you have to go to message to the left hand side corner and hit edit , but What happens if you go to your messages and to your left hand side on the top you do not see edit but you do see filters [Re-Titled by Moderator]
