Can't install Rosetta on my new MacBook M1, install button beeps and does nothing

Perhaps restart into Safe mode and try to run/install Rosetta2 again.

You've posted to the wrong forum area.

There is no MacBook M1. There is a MacBook Air M1 and a MacBook Pro M1, but no MacBook M1. The last MacBook was discontinued 2 years ago.

I cannot download Rosetta on my MacBook Air M1. Apple's page containing a download button doesn't respond.
