The 12 Pro Max model A2410 is intended for sale in Canada and Japan only, so I'm rather suspicious that the box was in Chinese.
The model Apple sells for use in UAE and the Philippines is the A2411 and for reference the model sold in mainland China and Hong Kong is the A2412:
