I bought an iPhone 12 in Macao, is it an international version? how can I check? I heard if it is a Chinese version, some of the 'Apps' will not be available. How can I check?

The region you have purchased your device will not affect the ability to download apps, however, the country/region you set does. You should ensure this is set to "Macao" so you are able to download and access all the Apple Services available to you.
