First of all: I LOVE iWork suite and all of it's design capabilities. That being said… I'd love it even more, if it just had some implementation of [Photoshop like] transfer modes for images that would've helped us avoid having to roundtrip to photoshop for a simple cut-off of a black logo over a white background!
I just can't seem to find the right place to suggest this feature.

Try Pages > Provide Pages Feedback in your menu. Numbers and Keynote have a similar menu pick for providing feedback.
