MacBook Pro iMessage

I am keeping my iMessage in sync with MacBook Pro and iPhone. Before the Big Sur updates, I am able to delete the iMessage from the Mac just using the keyboard. But with the Big Sur update, I don't have that option on my MacBook Pro. So if I want to delete a message I always have to do it only via touchpad. And if I want to delete multiple iMessages in a single shot there is no way. Can someone help me with this if there is an alternative to delete the iMessage efficiently?

Not sure why the keyboard shortcut feature is removed from the iMessage with the Big Sur update.

While this seems kinda contrary; there is documentation which suggests,

w/o terms, should 'just work' a specific way; according to Support article:

• Delete messages and conversations in Messages on Mac - Apple Support

https://support.apple.com/guide/messages/delete-messages-and-conversations-icht1035/mac

• Set up Messages on Mac

• Change General preferences in Messages on Mac

• Change iMessage preferences in Messages on Mac

• Q: "..Big Sur - Keyboard shortcut for deleting messages in the Messages app.?" - ASC

[A few commentaries found in duckduckgo search results, said they thought

workaround was discovered to this issue, nearly a year ago. But wasn't one.]

To report this in Apple Feedback maybe an idea ~ cite the problem & article.
