AirFoil or used Airport Express for Airplay?

I have Mac Mini paired with good sounding Bose 2 Companion III speakers in my bedroom and HomePod in kitchen/living room large area.

I like to listen to primarily to Spotify. Is it worth risk/extra benefit of getting used Airport Express 2 gen on eBay vs getting app like AirFoil?

Amazon Music audio terrible Apple CarPlay Lately Amazon Music sounds terrible when using Apple CarPlay. It sounds like it’s coming through a cheap 2” speaker. Very tinny sounding, not full. Where has the Apple Music AirPlay icon gone in Ventura update? Since updating to Mac Ventura (13.0.1) on my MacBook M1 Pro, the AirPlay icon in the Apple Music app, (the one that appears next to the volume controls at the top), no longer appears. How can I play my Apple Music on my Bluetooth device without outputting my entire Mac's sound? Never had this issue until the moment I updated. Has it moved somewhere else, or has the most useful feature in Apple Music bizarrely been removed?? Any help much appreciated.
