My podcast has disappeared from Apple Podcasts

Hi, my podcast has disappeared from Apple podcasts overnight - actually it disappeared on 20/04/21 and still hasn't returned. We have had the podcast for a couple of months and have/had 11 episodes available on Apple. Even though the show has disappeared from Apple it still seems to be available on all other podcast platforms. My host (Anchor) has tried to refresh the feed numerous times but we are still having the same issue. I have tried to contact Apple in numerous ways (phone, live chat, email) but have not had anyone be able to resolve the issue. Can anyone shed any light on why this may have happened and how to resolve the problem? This isn't just on my own device that I'm experiencing this issue.

Though I've no way of knowing for certain, this looks very like the same problem that a number of people have reported in this forum. There is an ongoing problem (probably more than one) at Podcasts Connect and Apple Podcasts which Apple are aware of and are working on. In fact Robert Walch has reported that Apple hope to have most podcasts back up by the end of today (Thursday - presumably in EST).


You could report it to Podcasts Support (ordinary Apple Support isn't of any use here) at https://itunespartner.apple.com/contact/?content_type=podcasts if it hasn't turned up in another 24 hours or so.


You should find that subscribers on a Mac or PC (not sure about iOS) still have access: you can confirm this by 'Subscribing by URL' on a Mac of the equivalent in iTunes on an older Mac or PC and adding the feed URL.
