Screen time password to enter an app

I am wondering if you are able to set a restriction on a app that still allows it to be on your phone, but when someone clicks on that app it prompts the screen time password. So they would still be able to access the app but only while you are around.

You can do that for any and all apps except the phone app. You can also restrict contacts to get around that, but the phone app must be accessible in order to make emergency calls. However, this will interfere with the other apps you already have restricted during downtime. Another way to restrict it is to set a time limit for that app to 1min, so that after 1min of usage it will close.

You can do that for almost every app (the phone app can't be restricted for certain safety reasons, but you can restrict contacts) by setting up downtime so that it is constantly active. Not sure if you can set downtime to be active for a full 24hr period, but you can have it turn off for one minute in the middle of the night. This will make it so that whenever someone wants to use an app, they must either send a request to your device for approval or have you physically input the password.
